The Problem

The owners moved to a lovely townhouse with a neglected and overgrown garden. The client, a keen plantswoman, wanted a relaxing and romantic garden with an area to grow vegetables and a small pond to attract wildlife.

The Solution

A winding path leads through a small pergola covered with roses. Underneath an existing pear tree, a curved bench is echoed by curving paths leading to a small pond. Lavender lines the path and raised vegetable beds makes tending this area easy. A new fence has been planted with clematis and other climbing plants to provide greater security and privacy.
