Designing for year-round colour

Most of us want our garden looking good throughout the year. Chelsea gardens look good in May: They are not designed to look good in October! All these photographs were taken in early October 2011 from the same garden in Chichester where late flowering perennials, grasses, leaf colour and berries bring the garden to life on sunny autumn days.
